Daniel A. Summers, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C
Principal Architect, President
Daniel Summers holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida and a Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida. He has more than 30 years of experience, including leadership roles in all phases of the architectural process, from master planning through construction. Noted for his award-winning work, as well as his community leadership and service. He has garnered the Merit Award in Architecture from the American Institute of Architects, and the Distinguished Alumnus Achievement Award from University of South Florida..
Kevin Williams, AIA, RID, NCARB
Principal Architect, Vice President
With a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Kevin Williams’ graduate studies focused on Urban Design & Planning. With more than 28 years of experience in public sector design and management, Kevin has earned the respect and trust of clients who depend upon his expertise and effective communication. This combination of strengths consistently brings innovative solutions to completion on time and on budget.
Bryan Lee, AIA, NCARB, LEED GA
Partner, Senior Project Manager & BIM Manager
Bryan Lee’s technical expertise in Revit®, the industry’s most innovative Building Informational Modeling (BIM) software, has positioned him as a leader on the BSSW team. The program allows other members of the firm to modify construction documents and presentations as needed. This seamless teamwork contributes to the firm’s sterling reputation for bringing projects in on-time and on-budget. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky, and has been with BSSW Architects Inc. since he graduated in 2002.
Construction Administrator, Project Manager
Since earning his degree in Architecture/Environmental Design from Bowling Green State University in 1989, David Torres has gained more than 25 years of experience. His work includes educational, commercial and municipal design and management. Notably, he specializes in universities, designing for established college campuses. Additionally, he has worked with one of the nation’s largest retail developers, as well as governmental organizations.
Miguel Goizueta, AIA, NCARB, CALEMA SAP Evaluator
Miguel Goizueta earned a professional degree in Architecture from ISPJAE, Havana University in Cuba in 1995 and a Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University in 2002. Additionally, he holds a Historic Preservation Certification from Complutense University of Madrid. During his career, he has applied his skills to many different project types. These include government, retail, commercial, health care, assisted living facilities, high-end residential, and more.
Beatriz Reyes, AIA
Beatriz Reyes has 15 years of experience in architectural/interior design, project management, construction administration and space planning. Her portfolio includes a wide range of work, including commercial, health care and residential projects. She studied architecture at both Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, earning two bachelor degrees.
A graduate of Pratt Institute School of Architecture in Brooklyn, Juan Pena gained experience in New York before joining BSSW. Additionally, he is fluent in Spanish and English, and he grew up in Southwest Florida. Therefore, he is familiar with the environment and architecture for which he designs.
Amber Evans, AIA, LEED AP
A 2003 graduate of the University of Miami, Amber Evans has a Bachelor of Architecture and more than six years of experience in all aspects of project design and management. One of BSSW’s LEED Accredited Professionals, she has distinguished herself by taking a leadership role in the company’s sustainability initiative.
Ronald Weaver, AIA, NCARB
Principal Architect – Emeritus
A founding partner of the firm started in 1980, Ronald holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Ohio State University. In addition to beautiful historic renovations and additions, his portfolio includes an impressive array of new development designs. His business leadership and community service are well known and appreciated in the Southwest Florida community.
From high-end custom homes to high-rise apartment buildings in Vietnam, Bao Tran’s designs are beautiful, contemporary and practical. He gained over 10 years of experience before joining BSSW. Now he serves Southwest Florida clients with specialized knowledge of 3D rendering and 3D animation. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architect in Vietnam.
David Bamesberger, AIA
Senior Project Manager
Dave Bamesberger has over 30 years of experience in design, construction and management. His award-winning work includes innovative and contextual designs. Additionally, he has expertise in public works and higher education. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies.
