Modern Architecture that Serves Library Patrons, Community

BSSW Architects designed this 26,390-square-foot facility to serve as a both a library and community center. A spacious interior features multi-purpose rooms ideal for community meetings and collaboration, as well as private study spaces. Adults, teens and children have their own dedicated spaces, and young readers can grab a favorite book before entering a comfortable “reading cave.” Floor-to-ceiling windows draw in plenty of natural light. A bright interior color palette livens up the interior, where gorgeous dark wood beams serve as an architectural showpiece. Library patrons also can enjoy an outdoor courtyard with decorative brick pavers and tropical landscaping. The library was completed in August 2019 at a total project cost of $13.5 million.
