The new marina is designed to house up to 315 boats with 286 dry storage boat slips and 29 wet slips. The 60,400 SF boat storage building will be made of steel – enforced concrete, able to withstand up to 200 MPH winds during a Category 5 hurricane. Located on San Carlos Island near the Matanzas Pass Bridge, the facility will be able to house vessels up to 50 feet in length. This project is expected to be a multi – phase endeavor, with the marina being the first phase and the possibility of retail, office, restaurant, and residential units being built in the future.
