The project involved extensive demolition and renovation of the existing gymnasium building as well as a new southwest wing addition to enhance student-athlete performance and recreational opportunities at Ave Maria University. The facility will receive a new building envelope, competition-grade court flooring, home team & visitor’s locker rooms, coaches and staff offices, all new building systems and fixtures, plus new hardscape and landscaping. The final 43,756 SF facility will offer additional practice and competition courts as well as flexible space for campus ceremonies.
