Fire Station 107 is based on BSSW’s prototype design and features three apparatus bays for emergency vehicles and a decontamination area where firefighters can remove contaminated clothing, shower, and change into clean clothing before entering the building’s living/workspace.
There are 6 private bunk rooms, an Officer’s Quarters, a dayroom, a kitchen/dining area, a fitness room, and a watch room for on-site training. Designed to withstand 170 MPH winds, the 8,713 SF facility is equipped with emergency generator power capable of operating portions of the building for 72-hours without refueling.
