To meet the Public Safety needs of this growing community, Lee County challenged BSSW Architects to prepare program and design solutions for a Public Safety Annex to be integrated into the existing Lee County Emergency Operations Center (previously designed by BSSW Architects). The program was a result of workshops conducted by BSSW Architects and the projects’ stakeholder steering committee. The new design includes a state-of-the-art 29,082 SF consolidated 911 Communication Center for Lee County EMS, Sheriff and Fire departments, multipurpose meeting/training facilities, consolidated Public Safety Administration offices, EMS and Sheriff Command Center, and support functions for the existing emergency management operations.
